so-vulgar asked: You really think it's ok to close your eyes to the cruelty, fine. It's your conscience really. You want me to fuck myself because I'm looking out for creatures that can't do it themselves? Fine. I do meet people who have no idea of what is happening and become vegan because I showed them the videos. And that makes the world we live in a better place - that's enough for me, I don't need your love babe. PS the fact that you don't watch the videos doesn't mean you're not supporting what they show:)

First of all: DO NOT CALL ME BABE. I am not a fucking pig.

Thanks for your opinion, and if I was interested in learning more I would actually ask! Unfortunately, I consider you another one of those faceless zombies of questionable cause who marches around preaching out your ass about one problem in a million. Your are so frivolous and ungrounded with your plea, like all these celebrities dumping water on their heads while people are dying of thirst all over the world. One track mind. You don’t make the world a better place! There are a billion causes and you only picked one. YOU ONLY PICKED ONE CAUSE. SINGULAR. What about war? Poverty? Starvation? Lack of education? Women’s Rights? Marriage Equality? GMO? Global warming? Deforestation? Human trafficking? Racism? Violent Dictators? Your own government selling toxic waste to third world countries for a profit? No, you only care about what YOU care about. You’re not a good person. You are a person with the so-called “ethical” hobby of telling others how to live.

"Happy Face Emoji"

be in a long term relationship with a girl -> be told by a stranger that you don’t care about marriage equality. this is actually quite amusing:)
In 2011 I went to EU Parliament(Brussels) to discuss the problem of refugees. In 2013 flew to Marseille to raise awareness of problems concerning LGBT(Q) amongst European youth from catholic schools. I am a volunteer at a local shelter. I recycle. Almost always use cold water. If asked for help, I always do my best. If I see somebody being discriminated, I always defend them. Out loud, no matter how big and violent the discriminator is. You never know who sits on the other side. I didn’t either but unlike you, I meant to shame/be rude towards nobody. I was just trying to raise a huge problem. This is by no means a place or a situation that one should get so angry about. Where is this hate coming from? Hate is the basis for so many problems. Hate for women, hate for gay people, hate for animals, hate for people of color, hate for others in general.
Dairy and meat industry are responsible for deforestation/lack of water too by the way. The information is out there, I’m just trying to tell people about it. Nothing wrong with that, a little hate from you is not going to stop me.
I hope your tomorrow will be less angry, lot of sun and good things should happen to you so you can return them to the ecosystem by being less hateful!

so-vulgar asked: How come you're so fond of nature(at least that's what it seems) and eat animals? Do you know the conditions they're held in? Have you seen the videos showing what they have to go through? It's super unnatural.

I am indeed very aware of the animal welfare issues surrounding meat –eating, and have read many books on the subject from both an animal psychologist’s perspective and the farming perspective. One such book I would suggest to you is “The Emotional Lives of Farm Animals”. Although I do not generally publicly discuss these things, I do get this question from time to time and so I felt it would be beneficial to explain my standpoint.

In a perfect world, we’d all be vegan, but that just isn’t feasible for me and for many others. Due to a chronic illness, I have many dietary restrictions and nutrition needs that are very different from others. That being said, all my beauty products (all 5 of them haha) are cruelty-free and are not tested on animals. I don’t buy new leather. I cook vegan/vegetarian at least three days a week and I recycle and repurpose every bit of the animal I am cooking. I do not feel it is proper etiquette to assume that someone is uneducated on the matters of meat-eating when you yourself do not know the reasons behind my personal choices.

Meat-eating is, above all, a personal choice.

I appreciate Anne’s tact. Miss Natural, I would have told you to fuck yourself. You can eat excrement for all I care. I’ll eat what I want, and rip into my meat with my omnivorous incisors. Seriously, keep your opinions to yourself and go watch some more sick fucking sadistic animal cruelty videos.

oh my God, this is ridiculous
